For the Unique Skip the Line Colosseum Family Tour for Kids, you will meet your English-speaking guide at Trajan’s Column, an ancient structure dating from 112 AD, located on Via dei Fori Imperiali next to Piazza Venezia. This tour is limited to small groups, so you are guaranteed an intimate and unique experience.
Outside the Colosseum you will visit the Roman Forum, the central area around which ancient Rome developed. Filled with beautiful statues and buildings, it is a hub of stunning architecture and was a platform for public speeches in 203 AD. One of the major highlights of this area is the Forum of Julius Caesar built in 46 BC.
Skip the line for a quick entry to the Colosseum where the guide will talk about the history and architecture of the extraordinary site in a way that is captivating for both children and adults.
The guide will take your family to the time way back when the Colosseum was all about gladiatorial contests, mock sea battles and a source of entertainment for emperors and the public; with the help of props, visual aids and re-enactments. Role-playing, visuals, and challenges will keep everyone involved as the gladiator arena and Roman Forum are brought to life. Every single detail will be presented in a simple and entertaining way so that you and your family can have a memorable experience.
