You should make your way to Milan’s landmark skyscraper at Take Away Bistrot, Via San Marco 33. Here you will meet your Sommelier (professional wine expert) and enter a wine bar for your tasting session.
Your Sommelier speaks both English and Italian and is trained in wine tasting, pairing wine with foods, wine purchasing, wine storage, and the creation of wine lists.
You will sample wines from the Lombardy region around Milan specially chosen by your Sommelier.
These might include some or all of the following:
•Pinot Noir (red wine)
•Renano Italico (white wine)
•Spumante Metodo Classico (sparkling white wine)
To freshen your palate during the wine tasting you will be offered delicious Lombardy cold meats and cheeses.
During the tasting session your Sommelier will tell you about the wines, their production, what foods they should accompany and how they should be served.
