A window to Italian, and more particularly, Florentine painting and sculpture, the gallery houses works of such Masters of the Renaissance as Botticelli, Mantegna, Correggio, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio. The Gallery also features the works of other European masters including Dürer, Rembrandt and Rubens.

A visit to the Uffizi Gallery opens up the world of Renaissance painting and sculpture that have immortalised Florence as the art capital of the world

Itinerary

Your guide will meet you outside the Uffizi Gallery at 1630h (04:30pm).

The tour takes you through the Uffizi Gallery, which enjoys the distinction of housing the world’s single largest collection of Italian and Florentine art. Typically, and specially in high season, the wait time at Uffizi Gallery can be up to 5 hours, but your ticket will save you that trouble.

The Uffizi is home to an amazing collection of Primitive and Renaissance paintings including the masterpieces of Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio as well as works of German, Dutch and Flemish Masters including Durer, Rembrandt and Rubens.

You will have a 90 minute guided tour after which time you are free to stay and explore at your leisure. The tour ends inside the museum.
