Stroll through the streets and piazzas of Florence and discuss the ideas of the Renaissance with the guide. Get an insight into the lives of many famous artists and the Medici family who showered Florence with countless masterpieces, and how life changed forever during this epic period of the history of Florence. Walk through the enchanting back-streets and alleys paved with the original stones from ancient times.
Stop to admire the Ponte Vecchio and to discuss the history and role of the oldest surviving bridge across the river Arno. After admiring Vasari's Corridor from the exterior at the Piazza Signoria, enter Dante's old neighbourhood.
Enjoy a walk through the historical centre of Florence and arrive at the Galleria della’ Accademia, home to Florence’s most treasured work of art – “Michelangelo’s David”. After an in depth discussion of David your guide will take you to see some other interesting works such as “Michelangelo’s Slaves”.
After your guided tour ends you are free to stay in the museum and explore at your leisure.
