Meet your guide at 1430h (2:30pm) at the Piazza Stazione, from where you will board a coach for your tour of Florence.
The afternoon starts with a drive to Fiesole. A delightful Etruscan town set in the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley.
Returning to the city centre you will enjoy a walking tour which includes the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce. The church is a burial ground of Florence’s most illustrious citizens including Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini. Continue to Piazza Signoria from where you can admire the imposing exterior of the Palazzo Vecchio, the imposing town hall of Florence.
Your last stop of the day is the Uffizi Gallery, home to works of masters such as Titian, Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to name a few. Enjoy a guided tour of the museum, after which can stay and explore on your own.
Typically, and specially in high season, the wait time at Uffizi Gallery can be up to 5 hours, but your ticket will save you that trouble.
The tour ends at 1800h (06:00pm) inside the Uffizi Gallery. You can spend more time in in the museum after tha guided tour. Uffizi gallery is open till 1850h (06:50pm).
