One of the major tourist attractions of Lombok is the city of Mataram. Take a trip to Mayura, the royal court of former Balinese kings and admire its beautiful artificial lake with a floating hall. Don’t miss a trip to the Mandalika Public Market. You will find shops selling fresh fruits and vegetables, clothes, spices, utensils and other items.

Your sightseeing tour includes a trek into the Suranadi Forest. Stroll in its botanical garden and spot an amazing variety of flora and fauna, birds, monkeys and butterflies. Your Indonesian excursion will be truly memorable!

Itinerary

You will be picked up in an air conditioned coach from your hotel in Lombok and taken on a private guided tour of the city of Mataram. You will visit the following places:

• Mayura: It is the royal court of former Balinese kings, built in 1744. Its main feature is an artificial lake with a floating hall.

• Mandalika Public Market: It is the main market of Lombok.

• Lingsar Temple: It is a place of devotion for both Hindus and Muslims.

• Narmada Royal Palace: The name of the palace was derived from a holy river in India. It was built in 1727 by the King of Karangasem.

Continue up into the hills to Suranadi Forest. You can trek through the forest. Stop for lunch at the Suranadi Hotel (cost not included).

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Lombok.
