Tulamben is one of Indonesia’s most interesting tourist spots. It is a diver’s paradise and is home to many water creatures and a World War II shipwreck. A very popular underwater photography site, many hard and soft corals, colourful fish and beautiful planktons can be found in the waters of Tulamben. A visit to Indonesia is incomplete without seeing the Tulamben Bay!
You will be picked up at 0700h (7:00am) in a car/minivan from your hotel in Bali and taken to Tulamben, a popular dive site in Indonesia.
The site is well known for its shipwreck USAT Liberty which was attacked by the Japanese during World War II. The shipwreck remained on black volcanic sand at a depth of 5-30metres and close to the shore. The site is also popular with underwater photographers. Follow the instructions of your personal dive guide and go diving in the waters of the Indian Ocean to spot a large variety of fish, hard corals, soft corals and beautiful tropical coral fish. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After your diving expedition, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bali at around 1700h (5:00pm).
