The tour departs from Batthyány tér (Batthyány square) right in front of the church.
• Walk from the side of the Danube River and photograph the great view of the Parliament. Walk down to the river bank and see many seagulls and the ships cruising up-and-down the river.
• Ascend the castle hill through the tight streets and stonesteps, all the way to the walls of the castle. Almost all of the buildings are protected monuments. See among others the residence of the President of the Republic of Hungary (Sándor Palota), the National Gallery, the Sikló. Also admire the panoramic view from the hill.
• Make your way down to the Tabán, and from there up to the Citadel, located on Gellért-hill. Enjoy the great view on the bridges crossing the Danube. At the citadel, you can photograph the Statue of Liberty, and the city from a much higher perspective.
• At the end of the session your photographer-guide will review some of the photos taken (if you are carrying a digital camera). You will have learnt the basics of composition, the importance of light in photography, how to take balanced and attractive images, and simple techniques to take "creative" images.
The tour concludes at Gellért-hill (Gellért-hegy).
