Your tour will depart from Lázár Street 16 in the 6th District. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will be taken on a Segway sightseeing tour of Budapest.
Starting from the city centre, you will pass by the following sights:
• Hungarian State Opera House: Built between 1875 and 1884, the Hungarian State Opera House is a splendid example of neo-renaissance architecture
• Grand Boulevard of Andrassy: Framed by its tree-lined avenues, this is the best shopping street in town.
• St. Stephen's Basilica: Budapest's largest church, St Stephen's Basilica houses Hungary's most sacred relic - St Stephen's mummified right hand.
• Chain Bridge: The Chain Bridge is one of Budapest's most famous landmarks. The magnificent suspension bridge over the river Danube between Pest and Buda, connects the cities of Buda and Pest.
• Vaci Walking District: This is famous for the outdoor cafés, restaurants and bars.
• Vörösmarty Square: Surrounded by cafes, shops and lovely pedestrian lanes extending in every direction, the Square’s main attraction is the statue of Mihaly Vorosmarty, who became a national hero with his patriotic writings.
• Vigado and Danube Promenades: Located in the middle of the famed riverside Danube Promenade (Dunakorzó), the Vigadó is one of the city's oldest concert halls, dating to 1864.
At the end of the tour you will return to your original point of departure.
