You will be picked up from a centrally-located hotel and travel in an air conditioned vehicle, accompanied by a guide to:
Herend: See the world’s largest Porcelain Manufactory, which was founded in 1826. Following a guided tour through the rooms, enjoy a cup of coffee. If time permits, you can also do some shopping.
Lake Balaton: This is the largest fresh-water lake of Central Europe. Often called the Hungarian Sea, the lake is the country’s substitute for a coastline where many locals flock to escape the summer heat.
Abbey on the Tihany Peninsula: Founded in 1055, the two-steepled abbey of the Saint Benedectine Order is impressive.
Enjoy a 3-course lunch in at Csarda Restaurant and then proceed to Balatonfüred, home to the oldest spa in Hungary, and walk along the famous promenade.
After the tour, return to the city centre in Budapest.
