Explore the attractive capital of lovely Zakynthos on this Sightseeing Tour of Zante. There is no hotel pick up and you should make your way to Mediterranean Laganas to meet your English speaking guide.

Traveling in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, your first stop will be at the renownedSigouros Pottery. Here you will find glorious traditional designs in stunning colours by self-taught ceramicist Sigouros Golemis.

Next stop will be at the Versagio folklore museum, full of fascinating artifacts showing how people of the island lived around 200 years ago.

Before driving down town you will stop to catch a fantastic view of Zante from the top – at Bochali. You will gaze out across the Venetian-style red rooftops, to the harbor and the blue Ionian Sea.

Once in the town, you will visit the church of Agios Dionysios (St Denis), patron saint of the island. This lovely building combines Byzantine and European building styles. It has exquisite wall paintings and the interior is decorated all entirely in gold.

After your visit to the church there will be plenty of time to shop along Alexandrou Roma street. Or you could relax at one of the cafes or restaurants in historic St Mark's Square and soak up the lively atmosphere.

At the end of your delightful tour you will be dropped off at the starting point at Mediterranean Laganas.
