Tour returns to the original departure point
The volcanic eruptions that created the Canaries aeons ago left a legacy of fascinating landforms, and hikers are greeted with exciting new views at every turn. Enjoy sparkling waterfalls, dizzying ravines, deep green pine forests and glades smelling of mint, sage and broom. See colorful wildflowers growing among the rocks and watch out for birds of prey circling overhead.
Both the hikes are designed to suit every level of experience.
At the start of the tour you will be picked up from one of the conveniently located collection points and taken to the start point.
Accompanied by your expert English/ Spanish speaking guide you will set off along one of the island’s many excellent walking trails.
You will discover the true inland beauty of Gran Canaria, a hiker’s paradise full of natural and historic treasures on its many trekking trails. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist beaches there is a whole other side to the island often dubbed “A continent in miniature”.
With two different hikes designed to suit every level of experience, you are sure to enjoy the islands stunning scenery and diverse wildlife as your expert guides lead you through all Gran Canaria’s highlights and hidden gems.

Kestrel Canyon hike is considered level 1.5 (easy to moderate) and Roque Nublo hike is considered level 2 (moderate)
In summer (01 May - 31 October), routes will be as following:
Tuesday: Roque Nublo (Level 2) – 11Km / 400Hm Up / 480Hm Down.
Friday: Kestrel Canyon (Level 1.5) – 8Km / 250Hm Up / 250Hm Down.
