Overview

Learn how to cook some of France’s famous pastries and confectionery in a fun and friendly class.

Let skilled chef Marthe introduce you to the art of turning out exquisite sweetmeats and impress your friends with your new talents when you get back home.

Different classes are on offer – desserts or chocolate – and you can select the one that appeals to you most. During the afternoon you will learn how to make the confection of your choice and enjoy a tasting session accompanied by coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Itinerary

If you love food and cooking then the acclaimed Dessert or Chocolate Cooking Class in Paris is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the French capital. There are specialist classes on offer: Chocolate or Dessert-making. You should state which sweet you wish to learn to make when you book with Isango.

Classes are intimate with no more than 8 participants, and are taught in Marthe’s beautiful apartment in a historic building with a patio garden. The spacious kitchen is fitted out with modern cooking equipment and professional appliances.

Chef Marthe will explain and demonstrate some of the basics of making classic French sweets. You then get the chance of some hands-on experience as you learn to create the delicious confections yourself.

The cooking part of the class lasts 2 hours and then there is a delightful hour-long tasting session accompanied by hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

The class ends at Chef Marthe’s apartment and if you have not booked return transport from the tour operator you will need to make your own arrangements for getting back to your accommodation.

Additional info

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.There will be from 2 to 8 people in your cooking class.
