Paris invites you to an evening that tantalizes the taste buds and stimulates the palette. Savor fine wines made by interesting small producers from lesser known areas of France.

The Wine Tour is led by an English speaking wine enthusiast who is passionate about wine and Paris, who will introduce you to 4 or 5 bars and cafes which locals frequent, and where we will have our wine ‘tastings’, including interesting selections from smaller producers.

Itinerary

Start your tour at 6:00pm, 26 Rue Berthollet 75005 with an introduction to French wine in a cozy Latin Quarter wine bar. Your wine expert will guide you through the different varieties of whites and reds and their regions such as Burgundy, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and the Cote du Rhone.

With this tour you'll learn how to gently swirl your wine to release its flavors and aromas as well as examine the wine's color tint and density.

As you slowly sip the wine and allow it to roll over your palate you will learn to identify the main components of taste the importance of the grapes selected and the effect of aging and more importantly how to enjoy the wines you are tasting and form your own taste.

Later you are booked with Heuereux Comme Alexandre 13, Rue du Pot de Fer, 75005, in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
