  • Overview & Itinerary

    Overview

The Navajo Indian Reservation abounds with one-of-a-kind natural spectacles, making it a photographer’s paradise.

Whether you’re an experienced or amateur photographer, it’s simply impossible to take a bad picture of such wondrous landscapes.

Walk through the slender channels of Antelope Canyon, where the smooth sandstone walls change color before your eyes.

Take in the staggering sight of the Vermillion Cliffs and train your lens on the vast emerald waters of Lake Powell.

    Itinerary

You will be picked up by air-conditioned coach (vans will be used for smaller groups) from your Flagstaff hotel for this Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon Photo Tour.

Drive across the expansive Navajo Indian Reservation, which stretches over 26,000 square miles of stunning desert terrain. Approach Antelope Canyon, where you meet your English-speaking local guide and board a four-wheel drive vehicle that will take you into the canyon.

This slot canyon is among the most awe-inspiring and tranquil places on earth, with narrow passages hewn between sandstone formations that have been smoothed by the winds and waters of time.

Shades of red, orange, and yellow emerge from the polished walls, and shafts of sunlight peek through the cracks. You won’t be able to put down your camera, as the colors of the canyon seem to change subtly with each passing moment.

Drive to scenic overlooks of placid Lake Powell, the second largest man-made reservoir in the United States, and the astonishing Vermillion cliffs, a geological treasure of cliffs, canyons, and sandstone sculptures.

You will be returned to you hotel in Flagstaff at tour’s end.
