You will be picked up from either your hotel or the Quito airport and taken in a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Pallacta Thermal Springs Resort, about 55kms from Quito. The drive takes about two hours. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.
The ride to the Pallacta Thermal Springs Resort (Las Termas de Papallacta Thermal Resort and Spa), traverses the breathtakingly beautiful “Cinnamon Trail”. As your vehicle winds its way higher and higher towards the resort perched high in the Andes, gaze down at the rivers and valleys that lie below.
As soon as you enter Papallacta, the difference in the atmosphere is noticeable.
Arrive at the Resort and check into your room.
You have the entire day to enjoy the facilities of the Resort and Spa.
Lunch at the Termas de Papallacta.
Enjoy the Thermal baths and the Thermal Spa at the resort (payable direct). The Spa offers two ranges of services. The Spa’s Thermodulic area (hydrotherapy area) consists of five hot thermal pools and one cold pool. The Thermoludic area is the ideal place to experience a variety of different hydromassages using either water jets or air bubbles.
The Spa’s Thermal Club offers a private and exclusive environment, where you can enjoy a range of different treatments related to health and beauty such as individual hydro massage baths, body treatments with medicinal Andean mud, baths in the Thermal Cave, Finnish saunas, pressure massages, aromatherapy or therapeutic massages, face and body treatments and more.
Do try an after-dinner soak under the starry equatorial skies. Relax in the thermal pools or spoil yourself with a massage or a treatment at the health Spa – all in the middle of an exuberant Nature.

After breakfast, spend the morning enjoying some more treatments at the hotel.
You can also enjoy a nature walk in the Canyon Ranch, one of the entrances to the Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve, located close to the resort. Walk alongside pristine mountain streams, observing the flora and fauna of the humid Andean forest. Papallacta is ideal for birdwatchers, with more than 160 different species of birds, including many hummingbirds and tangaras.
After lunch, depart for Quito.
Arrive in Quito where your tour ends with a drop-off either at your city hotel or at the Quito airport.
