You will be picked up from your hotel (or closest pick-up point) and taken in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a guided fine crafts shopping tour in Quito.
Arrive at the Mercado Artesanal La Mariscal. This is the biggest artisan market of the city, with a wide selection of Ecuadorian handicrafts located on Jorge Washington street, selling wooden carved figures, balsa wood birds, local Indian textiles, silver, Panama hats, tagua figures and native paintings amongst several others.
There are several other souvenir shops and street vendors in the city centre. One can be found on García Moreno (in front of the Palacio Presidencial). Nearby the same area you will find several street stalls selling crafts run by Otavalo Indians on Amazonas avenue (northeast of the Hilton Colón hotel).
Other interesting places to shop are the Galeria Latina and the Galeria Olga Fisch. (The places will be adjusted to suit your interests.)
At the end of your shopping tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel (closest drop-off point) in Quito.
