Overview

Pedal your way through the imperial heart of Delhi and see iconic landmarks of the Indian capital’s most recent history with this cycle tour. Starting from Old Delhi, the erstwhile capital of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, you will see the transformation of the city from the narrow alleys of the old neighbourhood to wide, colonial setting from the times of the British period. You will cycle past the quaint old ‘socialist-style’ government quarters to the stunning view of the Presidential Palace on one side and the India Gate on the other.

Here’s the plan…

Your Raj tour begins from Delite Cinema, one of the oldest theatres in the capital. The route that you will follow is:

  • Ajmeri Gate
  • Paharganj
  • Connaught Place (tea break)
  • Parliament House
  • President House
  • Rajpath
  • India Gate
  • Agarsen Ki Baoli
  • Dhobi Ghat

Old Delhi roads are mostly chaotic but you will be guided safely by your guide, making your cycling experience smooth and comfortable. Your tour ends with a delicious breakfast at the famous Bengali Sweets.
