Your magical Niagara Falls – Canadian Rainbow Illuminations Night Tour begins when you are collected from your hotel.
You’ll experience the spectacular nightly illumination of the mighty Falls on this 4 hour sightseeing trip. Your guide will share the area’s history and facts on a scenic and informative bus tour.
See Canadian Horseshoe Falls, where approximately 90 per cent of the Niagara River flows. The curving, horseshoe-shaped crest is 2,201 feet wide and the water passes over the crest at about 20 mph, producing great clouds of mist
At the Journey Behind The Falls attraction, you'll descend by elevator 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead to viewing points. Here you will experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down to the basin below. During summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the brink every second, travelling 65 kilometers per hour! Your Journey Behind the Falls visit will take 30 to 45 minutes.
At the Niagara River Gorge, view the Mighty Whirlpool and be awed by the intensity of these Class Six rapids.
You’ll visit Table Rock House, a retail and observation complex at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. This is the closest view point to the Falls on the Canadian side, so you’ll hear the thundering roar of the torrent.
The tour takes in Queen Victoria Park, centerpiece of the Niagara Falls recreational tourist area, and the focal point for the annual winter Festival of Lights.
Another lovely place is the Sir Harry Oakes Gardens. Oakes, an entrepreneur and investor, donated the site to the Niagara Parks Commission in 1936.
You’ll ascend the Skylon Tower – soaring 775 feet (26 meters) from the bottom of the Falls. From the top you will see unbeatable views of the American Falls and
Horseshoe Falls. The Skylon complex, which has a 3D/4D theater and two restaurants, still retains much of its look and feel from the 1970s and 80s. The tower features three outside mounted "Yellow Bug" elevators that can carry passengers to the top in 52 seconds.
After spending a total of around 4 hours at Niagara Falls, you will be dropped back at the pick-up point.
