Travel through a changing landscape the rare plants of the highland to the rich green tropical plantations of coffee, cacao, banana, coca-leaf and fruit tree orchards.
Arrive in Coroico at an altitude of 1800 metres. This is a serene village in the Yungas, the geographical transition between La Paz on the altiplano and the Amazonian rainforest. It is also a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the verdant scenery.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant. After lunch, you have some free time to walk and explore the town before returning to La Paz in the afternoon. The biggest attraction of Coroico is its slow and relaxed pace that makes exploring it a rewarding experience.
