Overview

If you are taking a vacation on the Gold Coast don’t miss the Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World. There’s fun for everyone at this fantastic state- of-the-art theme park.

Little ones can set sail for their very own aquatic adventure at Buccaneer Bay. This attraction has an elaborate pirate theme taking children into an imaginative and exciting world and offering hours of entertainment.

Older thrill seekers can get their kicks on the heart-thumping Surf Rider. Feel what it’s like to ride some of the world’s largest waves when you plummet 30 metres on a giant surfboard.

Prefer something more relaxing? The chill out or warm up (according to the season) in the delightful Whirlpool Springs spa, or experience the gently rolling swell of the Giant Wave Pool.

And depending on the day you could enjoy Dive'n'Movies – an incredible outdoor cinema experience. Watch hot new movies on a giant screen while floating on the Giant Wave Pool or lounging on a deckchair.

Itinerary

Your Gold Coast – Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World Theme Park Pass is your ticket to a blissful day of watery fun. Make your way to Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World, Pacific Highway, Oxenford Gold Coast and present your booking voucher at the entrance gate. You will then be issued with a pass that is valid for the whole day.

The park opens at 1000h (10:00am) daily. Be sure to get there early so that you can make the most of all the attractions.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World combines all the fun and excitement of the world's latest water slides and leisure pools with a shaded 20-acre subtropical garden.

There’s something for all the family at Water World. Some of the thrilling experiences on offer include the following:

Surf Rider: A cutting edge adrenalin pumping thrill ride! Ever wondered what it’s like to ride some of the biggest waves in the world? This ride delivers the experience with major thrills as you drop an incredible 30 metres while spinning on a giant surfboard.

Buccaneer Bay: Little ones can enjoy fun and fantasy at pirate-themed Buccaneer Bay – the ultimate kids' zone full of colour and cool interactive elements. A focal point of the attraction is a giant tipping bucket mounted at the top of the structure that frequently spills litres of water onto the eagerly awaiting children below.

Mammoth Falls: The Mammoth River Ride features 4.5 metre wide troughs winding over more than 200 metres of white water rapids, which you ride in giant six-person tubes.

Super 8 Aqua Racer: Plunge head first down the 8 lane, 86 metre long Super 8 Aqua Racer reaching speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour. Custom drag lights and timing technology make the Super 8 Aqua Racer one of the most advanced racing slides in the world!

Giant Wave Pool: The surf is always up at the Giant Wave Pool! Add 3 million litres of water and a consistent one-metre swell makes for a lot of fun. With gently rolling waves in the shallows and constant lifeguard supervision, guests of all ages can hit the surf in safety. There are also inflatable tubes for hire. The Giant Wave Pool is ideal for all ages, however adult supervision of non-swimmers and small children in the park is essential at all times.

Whirlpool Springs: The perfect place for adults to chill out or warm up depending on the season. In summer these awesome cold spas will help you cool off and chill out after a hot session on Wet’n’Wild’s biggest and best rides. In winter, the spa will morph into the luxurious Whirlpool Hot Springs. Featuring 10 large hot tubs heated to an amazing 36 degrees Celsius, you’ll experience the ultimate in relaxation and indulgence in their blissful warm waters.

Dive 'n' Movies: Turn a day out at Wet 'n' Wild Water World into a night out at the movies. Catch the hottest latest-release movies while floating on a tube on the Giant Wave Pool or lounging on a deckchair. This is the most amazing outdoor cinema experience with a giant 15 x 10 meter screen and an awesome surround sound system. Dive‘n’Movies is available only on certain days and during some holiday periods. Contact the activity operator to find out if Dive‘n’Movies is on for the times you plan to visit the park.

Food and drinks (payable direct) are available within the park.

Your pass enables you to stay in the theme park until closing time.

They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have (for example which nights Dive 'n' Movies screenings are taking place).Where possible, unforeseen closures of rides are notified by signage at the front gate on the day of closure.There’s no such thing as winter at Wet’n’Wild Water World, pools and slides are heated during the cooler months
