Overview

Travel west to the edge of the Blue Mountains for a memorable visit to a wildlife park. Stroke koalas, feed kangaroos and watch wombats. Sample a traditional 'bush Billy Tea' and hear interesting stories about the Blue Mountains. Experience the real back country which has magnificent cliffs, canyons and fascinating wilderness.

On this tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy a short bush walk and savour the perfume of the eucalyptus oil which naturally vaporises giving off a blue haze, from which the region derives its name.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel for this tour. Enjoy a full days sightseeing travelling in an airconditioned 4WD vehicle with a driver/guide. Leave the noise of the city behind as you cross over the majestic Sydney Harbour Bridge to indulge yourself in this wildlife discovery tour. See kangaroos up close in their natural environment along with other native bush animals.

There will be a break for lunch when you will be served a country style lunch in a country home.

Visit Australia's premier wildlife park, where there is the opportunity to cuddle a Koala and have an ideal photo taken should you wish. Pass the 'Three Sisters', and admire the spectacular view over Grose valley (Australia's "Grand Canyon").

From here start the journey back to Sydney. Enroute travel by the Sydney 2000 Olympic Site.
