Spend the day in Western Australia’s outdoors and walk amongst irresistibly cute koalas followed by some desert sand adventures. Begin your adventure with a visit to Yanchep National Park, home to a colony of koalas. Stroll on a board walk and you will see these delightful creatures from up close and personal. Grey kangaroos and black cockatoos are also a common sight at the park. Continue on to Lancelin where some exciting adventure in the sand awaits you. Nestled between the Indian Ocean and enormous white sand dunes, Lancelin is one of the most picturesque towns in Western Australia. Explore the white sand dunes in an exciting 4WD that will get your adrenaline surging.

If you’re in the mood for more adventure, why not try sand boarding down the dunes. Continue on to the unusual natural formations of Pinnacles Desert. Thousands of surreal limestone pillars rising mysteriously out of the stark yellow desert sands will hold you fascinated as you begin a walking tour. Itinerary

Departing at approximately 8:00am enjoy a fascinating day of spectacular natural contrasts. Big sky plains, koalas and kangaroos, massive sand dunes and emerald waters lapping pristine white sandy beaches. The thrilling adventure of Desert Storm, the off road monster over the Lancelin Sand Dunes, is an unparalleled way of discovering this awesome environment. Then the dramatic Pinnacles Desert - arid, vast seemingly lifeless yet inhabited by strange limestone pillars rising out of the sand.
