For your thrilling Waterfalls, Wildlife and Paronella Park From Cairns you will be picked up from your hotel and will spend a day exploring the Cairns highlands.
Departing the Cairns' coast, your Tour ascends the mighty Lamb Range providing panoramic views of the Mulgrave River Valley from Heale’s Lookout.
The high elevation Southern Tablelands rainforests are vastly different to coastal rainforest surrounding Cairns and support a wide variety of wildlife, many unique to the Tablelands.
Enjoy freshly baked scones and morning tea before boarding the first morning cruise on the calm waters of the volcanic crater Lake Barrine. View the Lake’s abundant wildlife and marvel at the ancient rainforests that surround it. A short guided walk reveals the Twin Kauri Pine Trees, 1000- year-old forest giants and some of the tallest trees in Australia.
Your guide will escort you along boardwalks to the ancient Giant Curtain Fig Tree – an amazing work of nature! The surrounding forest is home to the shy Lumholtz Tree Kangaroos.
You then begin the Waterfalls Circuit. Each of the waterfalls is unique and is viewed from a different aspect and all waterfalls flow in abundance all year round!
Explore the world-famous Millaa Millaa Falls (featured in many film productions) and travel quaint country roads through rich dairying pastures to Mungalli Falls. Enjoy an excellent two- course lunch served outdoors in a private gazebo situated atop Mungalli Falls, the Tableland’s tallest falls.
The lunch menu varies with the season but generally consists of a choice of three main courses and three desserts:

After lunch, you will arrive at the Crawfords Lookout. From here you will take in the immensity of this majestic landscape including the North Johnstone River. View the remote wilderness and tree canopy and absorb the atmosphere of this ancient landscape.
Descending the range, you arrive at Paronella Park where you will be accompanied by the park's knowledgeable guide for a leisurely tour of the National Trust listed Heritage gardens and castle ruins.
There is free time to view the museum and the remains of North Queensland’s first hydro-electric plant on the beautiful Mena Creek. Kids will enjoy feeding the fish and turtles below the falls.
Your tour concludes with scenic drive via Innisfail. At the end of a day of delight and wonder you will be dropped back at your hotel.
