Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for a sightseeing tour to West Kimberley. An experienced guide will accompany you on this trip.

After your hotel pick-up, you will board your flight and fly over lush environs and land at Fitzroy Crossing, situated on the banks of Fitzroy River.

A short bus trip from this pastoral haven will take you to Geikie Gorge National Park. Formed 350 million years ago, the gorge was once a part of the Great Barrier Reef in the Devonian era.

Cruise along the waters of Fitzroy River surrounded by the sheer cliffs of Geikie Gorge. Get an insight into aboriginal culture from your friendly guide. This land is inhabited by local Bunuba aborigines who have lived in the region for 30,000 years. Listen to 'dreamtime' stories of aboriginal ancestors, bush tucker and cultural practices as you cruise along. Throughout the journey, your guide will point out sea fossils, crocodiles, exotic birds and animals that pass you by.

A hearty meal in beautiful surrounds of the Mt. Hart Station will only add to this special day.

From here, fly over the massive tidal mud flats of the Buccaneer Archipelago and the Horizontal Waterfall and finally land at Cape Leveque, the northernmost tip of the Dampier Peninsula.

Enjoy your afternoon tea amidst these spectacular rock formations and experience the stillness of this remote part of the world.

Fly back to Broome.

At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.
