If you have limited time in Rome, then this tour is designed just for you. See the major attractions in Rome and Vatican City with convenient, skip-the-line access. This comprehensive tour takes you to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel and a host of other Rome attractions.
Join the expert, English speaking guides who will take you from the ancient roots of the Eternal City while giving you interesting insights and anecdotes. Your day begins at the Colosseum, where we will head straight into this majestic Roman Empire structure with skip-the-line tickets. An architectural and engineering wonder of the ancient world, the Colosseum bears witness to both the glory and brutality of the Roman Empire.
Moving on to the Roman Forum, savour the breath-taking views from outside a stunning vantage point, where you will spot the Senate and the Temple of the Vestal Virgins. Listen to the history of the sites as your guide regales you with how Rome became the heart of a vast empire.
Next up, we will stop at the Pantheon, one of Rome's most enduring monuments. It is an embodiment of the highest Roman building technology and of its purest architectural taste. While you admire its largest unreinforced concrete dome, hear stories about how it was built and why has it inspired other famous buildings like the St Peter’s Basilica and the US Capitol Building.
Enjoy a delicious gelato as you will stroll through the streets made famous by films like Roman Holiday, stopping at the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona & Bernini’s Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi for photo opportunities. Our final stop is the iconic Vatican where you can skip the lines to delve into one of world’s greatest collections of art. Visit the Raphael Rooms, ancient sculpture galleries and the stunning Hellenistic ‘Laocoon’. See Michelangelo’s frescoes in the Sistine Chapel along with mosaics on the floor and intricate frescoes on the wall painted by the early Renaissance artists.
Post your visit to the Sistine Chapel, you can either spend more time in the Vatican Museums or follow your guide and gain direct access to St Peter’s Basilica with skip the line tickets. You can spend as much time as your wish at the Basilica and explore the Papal Crypts, or climb the dome to the highest man-made point in Rome, with the tour finally ending at St. Peter’s Square.

Refer Please note for directions:
St. Peter’s Square
Oppio caffè is located on the corner of Via di Terme di Tito and Via Nicola Salvi - exact address Via delle Terme di Tito 72. If arriving by metro, please note that there are two entrances/exits for the metro. The caffè where we meet is located on the street above the metro station. You can take the stairs up either inside the metro station or from outside. Once you arrive to the street above the metro, face the colosseum and then walk to your left 150 meters and you will find the Oppio Caffè on the corner.
Afternoon Tour: •At the green bar (called l'Ottagono) in Piazza del Risorgimento. Meet your guide at 2:00pm for a departure at 2:15pm.
We meet just outside the green bar in the middle of Piazza del Risorgimento Square. This is the only bar/cafè located on the square. The bar is on the side of the square towards via Crescensio - close to Tram stop number 19. The closest Metro/Underground stop is Ottaviano.
So there's no last-minute rush please arrive at the start point 15 minutes early.
There is a new rule at the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill that only small backpacks and regular-size handbags are allowed inside. Guests with larger bags will not be allowed to enter (there are no storage facilities) and all guests must now pass through a security check before entering the Colosseum.
The Colosseum has changed its admission policy to ensure that only 3,000 people are allowed within the amphitheater at any given time, meaning much less crowding during busy periods. Although our tickets are pre-booked with Skip the Line access, this may mean a slight delay on entering if capacity has already been reached. We expect that the instances of this will be limited but ask for your patience if you travel on a busy day and are affected by this unavoidable circumstance. In all, it should make for a much nicer experience for all (and longer general access lines!).
St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel are holy places and thus, the attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. Failure to comply might result in denied entry. Since the chapel is at the end of the Vatican visit, it is sufficient to bring extra coverings with you and put them on before our entrance to the Vatican.
Your afternoon tour will end at St Peter's Basilica, where you will have skip the line entrance to get inside, though there is no guided explanation inside the church.
No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no shows after the tour starts.
Voucher information: No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other device.
You must carry a valid Passport, driving license or any kind of ID that has your official identification with you on the day of visit to Colosseum as direct access to arena floor is subject to various checks. We recommend to bring all original documents as photocopies won't be accepted.

Sev! The best our guide ever... Fabulous tour ... Loved every minute...Dominie Dumbleton, United Kingdom
Amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable!
This tour was with Walks of Italy - Our tour guide Guilia was very informative & knowledgeable, the use of headsets & radio's was helpful to be able to hear what she was saying especially when we were in noisy situations. The stop for Gelato was very welcome & perfectly timed. In the afternoon we were asked to meet up at 1:30pm instead of 2pm, giving us only an hour for lunch which made this feel slightly rushed. I would recommend this tour as a good introduction to the sites listed above.
Great service, friendly staff, great price, perfect place
Tokyo highs, see the Autumn colours!
Give thanks & keep on trekkin'!
