  • Overview & Itinerary

See the changing colors of Uluru as the sun sets over the western horizon and later enjoy an Aussie barbeque dinner with Uluru in the backdrop.

Uluru was created over 600 million years and lies west of the Simpson Desert, not far from the ‘Red Centre’ of Australia. It is known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sip a glass of wine and take in the beauty of the surroundings as the sun dips towards the horizon and see Uluru break into colors from gold to orange, red and mauve. Take pictures of Uluru every few minutes to really capture the gradual color changes of the rock.

The classic Aussie barbeque dinner with sparkling wine under the twinkling stars will make your evening magical.

Depart from your hotel in Ayers Rock Resort to the sunset viewing area at Uluru –Kata Tjuta National Park.

As the sun sets over the western horizon, see the myriad colors of Uluru as the sun rays fade over the massive monolith.

You will be served a selection of Australian wines and nibbles. You can either sit back and relax or stroll around the sunset viewing area, taking in the beauty of the desert plains.

After spending some quality time at the viewing spot, you will head for an Australian Barbeque dinner with Uluru in the background and under the stars in the clear desert sky. Enjoy the weather as you sip wine. Your Aussie BBQ dinner includes steak, kangaroo meat, lamb sausages, chicken skewers and garlic prawns, salads, a tasty dessert and a selection of red and white wines, beer and soft drinks. If weather permits, then you may be lucky to engage in stargazing.

After dinner, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
