      a truly enjoyable experience

I always dreamt of going to Pompei and I am really happy my dream came true. The guides were great! really friendly and helpful in explaining even the most obvious of questions. I have been travelling around the world for 25 yrs and at the most remote places and I feel tha the guides on this tour were excellent. There are a few things that I believe need fine tuning: 1) we were supposed to be picked up at 6.45am but the coach arrived at 7.10 am. Half an hour of sleep so early in the morning is important 2) I don't understand why the tour stops first at Naples and then goes to Pompei. We arrived at Pompei at 2pm with 40 degrees Celsius. Not an easy task for some of the travellers. Since the trip starts at around 8am I think it would be best to go first to Pompei in order to avoid the extreme heat conditions and then visit Naples (for lunch for instance) 3) The food at the restaurant we had lunch was below average. The spaggeti was ok but the main food was terrible. I think it would be best to keep it simple and funky and maybe cheaper overall. Instead of a dodgy bad meat plate a funky simple pizza option would appeal to most 4) All other tour agencies had provided their guides with microphones and earphones in order for their group not to fight for a place close the guide to listen to the info

      Wonderful Experience

Due to being peak tourist time we have very limited time at the night safari. We only had 15 minutes for our dinner and then a 40-50 minute wait to board the tour, due to this the tour appeared to be rushed and alot quicker then would be normally. Even though it was peak period the tour was still very enjoyable and certainly glad we did it. Also, we were advised that it is recommended to wear long sleeve/long pants (light) clothing and take insect repelant, we did this however was not necessary, as there was so many people + heat the long clothing was very uncomfortable. No on else at the night safari had this style of clothing on so perhaps not required or at least for this time of year?

Made a magical trip even more magical

Found tour guides and coach drivers friendly and efficent. the whole tour was very well organised but not rushed so there was plenty time to enjoy all aspectes of the tour. it was easy to contact them when in Paris and to find meeting point. As a mother and daughter traveling together it gave us a fantastic chance to enjoy a bit evening/nightlife and feel completely safe, getting dropped off a hotel at 1.45am gave us total peace of mind. Every person on the tour were happy and relaxed due to a all round magical tour.
