Here’s all the fun the tour has in store for you!

  • Visit the mesmerising Kaitoke Regional Park, passing along the beautiful Hutt Valley, for a nature trail amidst the rainforest and crossing a thrilling swing bridge. (Pssst…. Both the National Park and Hutt Valley has been featured in Lord of the Rings!)
  • Enjoy a scenic drive over the Remutaka Ranges, including a stop at the summit for spectacular views, as well as down into the Wairarapa region and past Featherston.
  • Head to the quaint winery town of Martinborough, visiting award-winning wineries, sampling their world-renowned wines, enjoying their cellar door experiences and finally digging into a sumptuous lunch at a vineyard restaurant.
  • Drive along the breathtaking South Wairarapa Coast and into Cape Palliser before exploring the charming fishing village of Ngawi, known for having most bulldozers per capita in the world. 
  • The tour then heads to Cape Palliser on the rugged South Wairarapa Coast. Take in breathtaking coastal views across the South Island and visit the south eastern most point of New Zealand's North Island.
  • Meet the adorable seals at North Island's largest permanent fur seal colony.
  • Challenge yourself to a hike up the Cape Palliser Lighthouse and get rewarded with panoramic views of endless sea in front of you.
  • Take a stroll along the edge of Lake Onoke (Lake Ferry) while hearing about its history and watching local fishermen haul in their catches fresh from the ocean.
