Our planet is wonderful, isn\u2019t it? This giant ball that floats among a galaxy of billions of stars. No wonder then World Earth Day is becoming an even more important annual event. You don\u2019t need us to tell you that now more than ever; we need to protect what we have.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It may sound contradictory that as a travel company we want to inspire you to see the world in all its forms, from the beautiful blue seas to the desert sands and natural rain forests. The tiny, remote villages and the bustling metropolises. But we can do that responsibly, ensuring that where we go, we look to reduce the waste, prevent harm to wildlife and local communities. Do what we can sustainably.<\/p>\n

So, there\u2019s no reason you can\u2019t take in the tourism sights and delights, see our beautiful planet, and doing all this sustainably. There are a plenty of spectacular ways to enjoy see our planet\u2019s wonders, and we\u2019ve picked several to showcase what an amazing place our home is.<\/p>\n

The Northern Lights<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

Look up at the dancing skyline and you can\u2019t help but be in awe. The Northern Lights are a special event, unique and personal. Those turquoise dancing lights that stretch across the night sky captivate any that seek them out. Iceland is one of the go to places to experience them and is a stark reminder of our planet\u2019s natural beauty. A light show unlike any other.<\/p>\n

Tulips in Amsterdam<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

Ok, so actually it\u2019s Keukenhof, but Amsterdam is a good place to start your tulip adventure. Fields of yellows, reds, purple and orange await. You are tiptoeing through them, taking in their natural wonder, colours and order. It\u2019s a popular trip, so be sure to book your tickets early. Then once you\u2019ve explored, head back to Amsterdam. It\u2019s a city with plenty of attractions to wander around.<\/p>\n

The Highlands and National Parks<\/strong><\/h4>\n

They may come in many disguises, from the tallest snowy peaks to rugged rocky valleys and dense forest floors, but they all point towards highlighting the beauty of our natural landscape. Head into the highlands of Scotland<\/a>, for example, and you\u2019ll look across craggy mountains stretching into the far distance. Or wander through the forest covered hillsides of a national park or the dusty, barren canyons in places like Yosemite<\/a> or the Grand Canyon. Places like this show their beauty but also their vulnerability.<\/p>\n

Desert Sands<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

There is no greater contrast from the greenery of a national park than the open desert sands. Doesn\u2019t mean they aren\u2019t as beautiful or in less need of preserving. They are landscapes to savour and enjoy, oh, and protect.<\/p>\n

World Earth Day is a chance to celebrate our planet, and to commit to preserving it. Travel gives us the opportunity to see nature\u2019s beauty up close, and as long as everyone works together to safeguard this beauty, we can ensure future generations can enjoy them just as we are. What an incredible place we live in! Let\u2019s enjoy it cause it\u2019s blooming lovely!<\/p>\n
