You could walk away from this rendezvous with relationship brownie points to last a lifetime, or you could be known furthermore as that guy or girl who couldn\u2019t even get sparks to fly in Paris, of all places. Best to play it safe then, eh? Take our advice and hit this one out of the park in romantic Paris. We believe in you.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Catch a flick\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Arthouse cinema Le Champo has been dishing up visual fodder to would-be couples looking for an excuse to \u2018accidentally\u2019 brush hands in the dark since 1938. These days the place is somewhat of an institution for young cinephiles, loved up and otherwise, hoping to follow in the footsteps of its former patrons (French film directors Fran\u00e7ois Truffaut and <\/span>Claude Chabrol both were regulars at Le Champo). <\/span><\/p>\n

If you and your date\u2019s French doesn\u2019t extend far beyond ‘S’il vous pla\u00eet’, there are<\/span>\u00a0usually plenty of English-spoken films on the schedule too. <\/span><\/p>\n

Have a royal day out\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Give the queen or king of your heart a royal day out at the Palace of Versailles. Marvel at the Hall of Mirrors, ramble through Marie Antoinette\u2019s storybook hamlet property and, when the crowds get too much, get lost in the endless gardens and parklands. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cruise the Seine<\/h4>\n

A little romance on a boat, gently heading down the river. The sights of the city show off as you pass by. Well actually, there may be no more romantic way to enjoy the city than a Paris boat tour<\/strong><\/a>. A river cruise on the Seine gives you and your partner time to settle back (arm in arm) and see the sights.<\/p>\n

The most romantic date on the list is the cheapest. (You\u2019re welcome.) Grab some cheese, a baguette, a few strawberries and a bottle of red, and head on down with your SO to the <\/span>Champ de Mars park<\/span> (probably the most famous patch of grass on earth) for a date to remember. Yes, it\u2019s been done before, but hey, if it ain\u2019t broke (and if you are..).<\/span><\/p>\n

If you do have a few pennies, then why not enjoy a glass of bubbly at the top of the structure? Call it a perfect date idea. You’re at one of the most romantic places in Paris, so why not head up for the view, a glass of champers and a special moment?<\/p>\n
