Yup, you read that right!\u00a0Hans Gamper who was a Swiss\u00a0student moved to Barcelona in the late\u00a01890s\u00a0to learn Spanish. Football was becoming more known during that time, and it was something that Gamper was very\u00a0passionate\u00a0about, and he had a considerable influence\u00a0in promoting the sport.<\/p>\n

In 1899, Garner decided to\u00a0found a club, somewhere where he could\u00a0organise\u00a0football matches himself regularly. That’s when FC Barcelona was born!<\/p>\n
