Leave behind the sparkling city life of Sydney and enjoy an eco tour of the spectacular Blue Mountains of Australia. Spend time at Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to Australia’s favourite marsupials. Get up close to local Aussie birds and animals including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and wombats.
Enjoy a lovely morning tea out in the open, see the beautiful Wentworth Falls and fall in love with the majestic beauty of the Blue Mountains, a UNESCO Heritage Site! Reconnect with nature on this Blue Mountains tour and enjoy breath-taking scenic beauty and discover the indigenous flora and fauna of Australia.
You will be picked up from your hotel at the scheduled time in an air-conditioned luxury vehicle. Delve into Australia’s fascinating past as your guide shows you the cottages built by convicts, the historic Rocks precinct, and Australia’s first church.
You will then travel North, across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Australia’s shortest freeway. Continuing west, the first stop is at the Featherdale Wildlife Park, one of the leading wildlife tourist attractions in Australia. See local Aussie animals like kangaroos, koalas, wallabies and wombats up close.
Your next stop will be the Blue Mountains National Park. Enjoy morning tea in a hidden clearing, explore the place and observe the kangaroos and birds that frequent this part of the national park. The next stop is Kings Tableland. Soak in breath-taking views of the Jamison Valley and experience first-hand the rugged beauty of the Blue Mountains.
Enjoy lunch at the heart of the Blue Mountains in a local café. After lunch, you will proceed towards the township of Katoomba. See the famous Three Sisters rock formation from the Eagle Hawk Lookout. You will also enjoy spectacular views from the Narrowneck Plateau.
You will next see the spectacular Wentworth Falls. Negotiate the well-worn path that leads to the falls and be prepared to be bowled over by even more stunning views. Observe the local flora and fauna while your knowledgeable guide tells you about the incredible geology of the Blue Mountains and how they were formed.
Re-board the vehicle and continue east towards Sydney. Enjoy the drive back through Sydney’s western suburbs and across ANZAC Bridge. You will be dropped off to your hotel in Sydney.
