See the most beautiful sites of the Vatican in a single day - the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. An expert guide available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, will accompany you at all times for a sensational experience, complete with intriguing anecdotes and titbits from the Vatican’s turbulent history.
Skip the legendary queues at the Vatican Museums and the Basilica of St. Peter to enter and marvel at the exquisite beauty. Visit the sumptuous Raphael Rooms among other treasures before arriving at one of the highlights of our tour, the Sistine Chapel. You will also be treated to some of the finest pieces of Renaissance art in existence besides Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling - his ‘Last Judgement’ and Raphael’s glorious frescoes.
From the Sistine Chapel make your way to St. Peter’s Basilica. As you walk around, you can admire the lavish decoration of the Basilica, and the magnificent artwork around some of the papal tombs. Your guide will tell you about the many challenges that confronted the architects in building the great cathedral dome, a dome that was conceived from the outset to be the largest in Christendom.
With its splendid architecture and ravishing interiors, a visit to the Vatican is an unforgettable encounter with history and art one cannot miss out on!
