Overview

Before the sun rises, embark on a journey to one of Mexico's most famous archaeological sites. The tour will be guided by a certified archaeologist who will explain in-depth everything related to the site and the Mayan Culture after having lived a great day full of knowledge about this culture.

Discover how this pre-Columbian city played an important role in the Mayan civilization around 600 AD to 1200, and even in these times, it remains a centre of worship and pilgrimage until the arrival of the Spaniards. Even today, it is still considered a sacred site by the Mayan people of the Yucatan Peninsula. Like many of the cities of ancient Mexico, the site was abandoned and its ruins are hidden among the jungle.

Marvel the incredible monuments at first light such as the Pyramid of Kukuclan, the Sacrificial Well, the Observatory, the Monk’s Cloister, the Observatory, the Wall of Skulls, and the world’s biggest ball court where a whisper can be heard kilometres away due to the powerful acoustic properties of the structure.
