Overview
Iceland is a paradise when it comes to landscapes and natural beauty! The Golden Circle is a route connecting the best attractions of Iceland from The Great Geysir, to Gullfoss and Faxi Waterfall, Thingvellir National Park and more! Get to travel in comfortable coach accompanied by friendly guide who takes you around this full circle, leaving you with stories to cherish for a lifetime.
Cover a 300-kilometer long route into southern upland to see the best attractions of Iceland. See the Kerid Crater, a volcanic crater lake that formed around 3000 years ago. Stroll along the crater rim or follow the paved path down to the bottom of the crater for splendid views.
Next, head to Gullfoss Waterfall. About seven minutes away from the Geysir, this waterfall is a sight to behold with a downfall of 32 meters! Chances of spotting a simmer of rainbow forming over the mist of fall on a sunny day.
Visit the famous geothermal area The Great Geysir. Wait for the right moment to catch Strokkur, a hot spring shoot up high in the sky to about 30 meters every eight minutes.
Travelling further south, you’ll reach the Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the junction of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates! It is also famous for being the place of Iceland’s parliament since the 10th century.
