Aquarium de Paris – Cinéaqua is in the Jardins du Trocadéro and is accessible by subway, RER or bus.
Opened in 2006 in the heart of Paris and located underground, Cinéaqua is one of Europe’s largest and most thrilling aquariums. It combines state-of- the-art displays of sea creatures with cutting-edge audiovisuals. As well as 40 or more seawater tanks featuring at least 500 different species, there are three multi-screen cinemas showing exciting films, cartoons and documentaries.
At Aquarium de Paris – Cinéaqua, you will find marine life from all around the coast of France and from French territories such as Polynesia and Guyana. Enjoy the colorful coral reefs, the jellyfish, the sinister eels and the antics of the clown fish.
Get the chance to meet Claire, a real life mermaid diving in an 8 meter tall tropical tank, introducing eagle rays, groupers and her other warm seawater friends.
Don't miss the new show, The Pirates and the Ocean's Diamond, which has exciting sword fights, stunts, dancing and humor with a pinch of cinema’s magic. The interactive show will involve the audience too as the pirates will need the bravery of every child present in the theatre to win!
Other highlights include an 11-meter tunnel where you come nose to nose with stingrays and sharks – an unforgettable experience! Then there are the touching pools where the kids get to stroke a carpe.
