This theme park is inspired by the famous French comic book series called the Adventures of Asterix by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. Rides include the Tonnerre de Zeus that lifts you up to the peak of Mount Olympus, to a height of 30 meters and propels you at a speed of 80 kph along a giddy 1.2 kilometer course for 90 seconds! There is even a faithful reproduction of the little indomitable Gaulish village which has been approved by Albert Uderzo himself!
Visit the world famous Asterix Park (Parc Astérix) just outside Paris. You will travel in a luxury, air conditioned coach to reach Asterix Park.
Enjoy the exciting environs of this family amusement park where children and adults can have a great time at your leisure. Merry go rounds and roller coasters are aplenty to keep you entertained for the day. The Tonnerre de Zeus, Europe’s largest wooden rollercoaster, goes up to a height of 30 meters and a speed of 80 kilometers per hour along a 1.2 kilometer course!
At the end of the tour you will be returned to the original point of departure, arriving around 9:00pm.
Please call the local activity operator at least 24 hours prior to the start of the tour to confirm the departure details.
Please note that check-in will close 10 minutes before excursion start time.
Voucher information: You must print and surrender a paper version of your booking voucher for this activity (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
