Then, follow your guide up to Bluff Top Trail and enjoy the breath-taking view of the harbor and the Pacific Ocean. Afterwards, embark on an exhilarating kayaking adventure in the Pacific Ocean with your expert guide. And, find out why taking a walk along the harbor and hearing about the history of Dana Point is what to do in California!
Make your way to a popular food joint by the harbor for a quick bite. Then, you’ll head over to the maritime education center know as the Ocean Institute. You might even get to view the two historic ships moored here: The “Pilgrim” and “Spirit of the Dana Point”. You’ll set off for a hike on the beautiful trails of the Headlands and check out the Nature Interpretive Center, too. It’s one of the best things to do in California!
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organized activity to reconfirm.

There will be a considerable amount of walking.
Bring along swimming clothes for kayaking activity.
There is an opportunity to change clothes before the kayaking tour. There will be restrooms along the way, but please bring a water bottle to refill and comfortable walking shoes. You can safely leave your personal belongings at the Kayak rental location while we are out on the water. The guide will give clear instructions on how to enter, use, and exit your kayak if you are inexperienced. Please be aware that you might get a bit wet.
The walking distance is about 5 miles (8 kilometers) with approximately 50 yards/meters of elevation gain. The walking is spread out over 6 hours with several breaks.
If the weather is particularly bad, we will be unable to go ahead with the tour.
Children under the age of 12 years will need to sit this one out.
