  • Overview & Itinerary
Overview Take a tubing trip down a roaring river while your eyes drink in the pastoral beauty of Jamaica.

The White River cuts through one of Jamaica’s most verdurous valleys, and is believed by some to be a fountain of youth.

Conquer challenging rapids and paddle around placid lagoons, as you learn the many moods of the river.

Trade your paddle for a camera to capture the sprawling gardens, groves and plantations of the White River Valley.

Enjoy a cold one at a local bar and reflect on your exhilarating adventure.

You will be picked up from your Ocho Rios hotel in a bus for this White River Valley tubing adventure . You will be accompanied by an English-speaking driver/ guide.

Take a scenic drive through the hilly interior of Ocho Rios to the Spanish Bridge , an old stone overpass from the 17th century and one of the last relics of Spanish colonization in Jamaica. The bridge spans the White River , whose waters are believed by some natives to reverse the aging process.

There will be a short safety briefing before each person is assigned a river tube, paddle and a life-vest.

Embark on a breathtaking three-mile journey down the White River with your experienced tubing guides at the helm.

The river is known not just for its purity and rumored mystical powers, but also as the dividing line between two of Jamaica’s most beautiful parishes, St. Mary and St. Ann.

Feel the changing moods of the river, as its pace shifts from furious to serene, while passing coconut plantations and bamboo groves that spread out from the banks. Enjoy the challenge of roaring rapids and the serenity of still lagoons.

Paddle to shore and enter the beautifully landscaped gardens of the White River Valley , where you can browse a gift shop full of Jamaican treasures or seek out refreshment at the Parrot Bar. You’ll likely have worked up an appetite by now, and you’ll also be able to indulge in complimentary refreshment.

You will be returned to your hotel at tour’s end.
