Board the world famous “Maid of the Mist” boat for an incredible 45-minute journey into the mist and spray inside the curve of the Falls. “Maid of the Mist” is North America's oldest tourist attraction; millions of visitors have enjoyed the boat tours since 1846.
At Prospect Point you will see incredible views of the foaming torrents from the New York State Observation Tower.
Your tour includes admission to the amazing Cave of the Winds. Ride an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) deep into Niagara Gorge. Then, clad in a yellow poncho and special footwear, follow a guide over wooden walkways to the famous "Hurricane Deck". Standing at the railing, you are a mere 20 feet (6 meters) from Bridal Veil Falls.
You’ll also see Canadian Horseshoe Falls, where approximately 90 per cent of the Niagara River flows. The curving, horseshoe-shaped crest is 2,201 feet wide and the water passes over the crest at about 20 mph.
Your guide will show you more sights, such as the American Falls, separated from the Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island, and Bridal Veil Falls, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island.
From the upper part of Whirlpool State Park, you will see spectacular views of swirling rapids, the Niagara Whirlpool and the Niagara River Escarpment. The Park also has trails and steps down into the gorge to get you closer to the river.
After spending a total of around 4 hours at Niagara Falls, you will be dropped back at the pick-up point.
