Overview

The Granja de Esporles is a beautiful mansion dating from the tenth century located 15km from Palma, surrounded by lush vegetation and 20,000 m² of beautiful gardens with natural springs, thousand-year-old trees and many species of flowers and plants. This 3,000 m² stately Mallorcan estate is a mixture of the noble and rustic styles because, in addition to its residence use, it was also a 'possessió', a working farm dedicated to agricultural production, employing more than one hundred workers in its heyday.

All of which confers it the inexplicable charm of a well-preserved ancient building - maintaining its dignified style - but at the same time preserving the most crucial elements of Mallorca’s rich cultural heritage. It is presently a living showcase of the culture and customs of the island over time. The tour of the museum house will take you through almost all the rooms in the building, allowing you to admire a real demonstration of the living spirit of Mallorca.

Tasting all day in the store: potato fritters (made in front of customers) with different types of homemade jam (dried figs, apricot, orange, pumpkin), cheese, sausage, fig bread, muscat sweet wine
