Cordoba is a melting pot of cultures and traditions, never failing to surprise the visitor. It is one of the most attractive destinations in southern Spain and is particularly famed for its Grand Mosque (the Mezquita).
Seville has had a colourful and varied history including being an important hub of the Roman Empire. Seville is filled with many beautiful churches and palaces and offers some of the best tapas and wine in Spain.
During the tour you will be accompanied by an expert guide who will share notes and anecdotes about the places you visit.
You will stay at a 4-star hotel, located in the heart of Seville, with hospitable room service and a homely atmosphere.
Day 1 - Madrid – Cordoba - Seville
The tour departs at 08:30am from designated meeting point. You will travel in an air-conditioned coach accompanied by an English-speaking guide.
Travel through the land of Don Quixote "The Man from La Mancha" to reach Cordoba in time to have lunch.
After lunch you start the city tour of Cordoba by visiting the famous Mezquita or the Moorish Great Mosque of Cordoba.
You also visit the Jewish Quarter, which dates back to the times of the Romans and Goths. The Sinagoga of Cordoba is the only one to survive the Inquisition. Today it is a museum.
After your trip around Cordoba your tour will then take you to Seville.
On arrival in Seville you check in to your hotel for dinner where you also stay the night.
Day 2 - Seville - Madrid
The morning starts with breakfast after which you start your morning tour of Seville.
Drive past the Seville Cathedral the third largest church in Europe and the largest Gothic building in Europe. It also boasts the largest altarpiece in the world.
Continue to the Santa Cruz Quarter - Stroll through, the famous historical old town of Seville and the enormous and beautiful Maria Luis Gardens built as a Romantic garden.
The afternoon is at leisure to continue exploring this beautiful city.
Included in the tour cost is a ticket for tourist class rail travel from Seville to Madrid. (Departure: Seville 6:45pm– Arrival Madrid: 9.15pm. You will need to make your own way to the train station in Seville.
