Get drenched in some movie magic as the tour covers the major landmarks of the Entertainment Capital of the World. Drive past the world’s most well-known address, Beverly Hills. Walk in the footsteps of some of Hollywood’s most renowned celebrities at Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Explore trendy Venice Beach and Santa Monica’s 3rd street Promenade with its many café’s and unique shops.
Experience movie magic and glamour up close and see where the most famous movie stars in Hollywood live and shop.
You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken for a sightseeing tour to Los Angeles and Hollywood. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour.
You will drive past many world-famous Los Angeles landmarks such as:
Olvera Street: See the original street where Los Angeles was first settled.
Hollywood: See the world-famous Hollywood Sign and the Hollywood Bowl, the largest natural amphitheatre in the world. For over 70 years, the Hollywood Bowl has been the scene of some of the most memorable musical moments in Los Angeles history... symphonies, opera, jazz, ballet, presidential addresses, rock concerts.
Sunset Strip: Lined with boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs and night clubs, the Sunset Strip is the mile and a half stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood.
Rodeo Drive: You will be driven through the internationally-renowned Rodeo Drive to see the stores where the rich and famous shop, including Bijan, Gucci, Prada, Harry Winston Jewelers, and the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel featured in “Pretty Woman.”
Melrose Avenue:This well-known Los Angeles street is the fashion nerve centre of Hollywood and is the places where the stars shop. It is lined with internationally recognized fashion houses.
Mann’s Chinese Theatre: Also known as Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (after its owner), the distinctly-Chinese theatre opened in 1927 and is one of the most famous landmarks in Los Angeles. Guarding the theatre entrance to this day are the two original giant Heaven Dogs brought from China. One of its attractions is the famous cement forecourt containing hand and footprints of numerous screen legends, including John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Jack Nicholson.
Hollywood Boulevard: One of the most famous boulevards in the world, Hollywood Boulevard starts from Sunset Boulevard and ends at the Sunset Plaza Drive. Walk on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and catch a ‘star’ beneath your feet!
Farmers Market: From its modest beginnings in 1934, when a group of farmers displayed farm-fresh produce for the locals, today, the sprawling International Farmer’s Market is synonymous with exotic food products from all around the world. With over 100 shops, restaurants and grocers, it is LA’s favourite shopping haunt.
The Grove: Almost a town unto itself, The Grove hosts such stores as Nike Goddess, Nordstrom’s, J. Crew, great dining options and the Pacific Movie Theaters.
You will have a choice of visiting either the Venice Beach or Santa Monica.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped at your hotel in Anaheim.
