Overview
Fascinating day out in Osaka including panoramic views of the city, 16th Century Castles and a relaxing sightseeing cruise down the river.
Start the tour with an impacting, panoramic view 170 meters high overlooking the whole of Osaka, Awasji Island and Mt. Ikoma. This view can only be found at the top of the ultra-modern two towers of the Umeda Sky Building, featuring a doughnut shaped roof connecting the two buildings providing a perfect vision, panoramic view. This hair-raising experience is a great way to commence an excellent day and is a real eye-opener. With a wonderful adrenaline rush and a thirst to explore, our tour continues.
Dig in to a Western style lunch in Granvia Osaka Hotel, famously renowned for its delicacies and talented chefs. Enjoy the delicious flavours and sensations, before we move on to Osaka Castle, a precious 16th Century castle founded my Hideyoshi Toyotomi and a remarkable shogun in the Sengoku period. The inside of the castle is now entirely modern, due to troop attacks and being struck by lightning, the castle was reconstructed and also houses a museum about the history of the location.
Last but not least, we hop aboard the mighty Osaka Aqua Liner, a long, flat boat with the ability to slide under bridges with its sleek and mobile shape. Look out for all the hotspots as we pass by Nakanoshima, Osaka Business Park and Osaka Amenity Park. Chose to relax on the upper decks or front or back, whichever feels best for you and let the world float past you.
