Glide across the still waters of Aegean, where geologic pressures have conjured islands from the deep and driven others below the sea.
Enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner and glass of wine overlooking Santorini’s most fearsome volcano and natural hot springs.
Please make your way to the Fira Post Office, where a bus will be waiting to take you to the harbour for this Santorini sunset cruise. An English-speaking escort will be on board to fill you in on the history of the island and answer your questions.
Board a magnificent wooden boat and sail into the open waters of the Aegean Sea.
Cruise around the caldera, the basin-shaped depression left by the volcano of Santorini, whose numerous eruptions have given the island its shape.
Drop anchor near the volcano, which has lain dormant since 1950, and tuck into a delicious buffet dinner. Sip a glass of local wine while overlooking the volcanic hot springs, once believed by Grecians to be the haunt of vampires.
A local band will strike up a soothing tune as you approach Oia, where the houses resemble sugar cubes clinging to the cliffs.
Watch the sky change from yellow to orange, ornamented with streaks of pink and purple, before it disappears behind the island.
There is no hotel drop-off. You will be returned to the Fira Post Office when night sets in.
