Travel in a top of the range Mercedes mini-coach and drive through the picturesque highlands with lochs, mountains, ridges, castles and bridges. Some of the highlights include Glencoe, Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, Quiraing Mountain Pass and the Five Sisters of Kintail.
An English speaking guide will accompany you at all times and show you around the Isle of Skye.
Note: As there is no accommodation provided with this tour you must book your own accommodation. This should be within 1 mile from the town centre, Somerled Square Portree (Kyleakin from 01st April 2016) or you would need to arrange your own transport to and from a central pickup/dropoff point. Please mention your accommodation details in Portree (Kyleakin from 01st April 2016) at the time of booking.
You will be picked up outside Parish Hall in Glasgow in a top of the range Mercedes mini- coach. You will cross the ancient natural fault line that runs across Scotland. As your coach reach the Highlands, you will see a dramatic change in landscape with several shimmering lochs, rugged mountain tops and forest-filled glens around you.
Drive across to Rannoch Moor into Scotland’s famous valley Glencoe. Stunningly beautiful, with its dramatic cliff faces and steep slopes, Glencoe is infamous as the site of the Glencoe massacre in 1692. You will drive through Fort William before heading towards Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Travelling west on the Road to the Isles, head through the stunning Five Sisters of Kintail, the mountains guarding the pass on the way to the Isle of Skye.
Stop to visit the famous Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles, set at the junction of 3 lochs and alomost completely surrounded by water.
After crossing over the bridge to Skye, you will drive along the dramatic coastline towards the north to the final stop for the day, Portree (Kyleakin from 01st April 2016).
Book you own accommodation to spend the night and for breakfast.
You have the entire day to explore the Isle of Skye. Hop on to your mini-coach and you will drive to the Trotternish Ridge to see the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the stunning mountain pass of the Quiraing.
Then drive westwards to the dramatic sea cliffs of Neist Point or visit Dunvegan Castle, the 13th century home of the Clan Macleod.
You will return back to your accommodation (not included in the tour) in the evening.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and driven south to the Cuillin Hills and back over to the mainland for spectacular views over Loch Duich and the Five Sisters of Kintail.
Moving forward you will head to Loch Ness, best known for the mythology surrounding the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie).
After lunch at Loch Ness, head south through the Grampian Mountains along Loch Laggan to Dalwhinnie, home to Scotland's highest whisky distillery.
You will stop for refreshments in one of the local villages before heading back to Glasgow.
You will be dropped outside Parish Hall in Glasgow at around 7.30pm.

It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated and missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.
