Experience the elegance and grandeur of the Old Prussian Empire when you dine in style at the gorgeous Charlottenburg Palace and attend one of the famous concerts in the Great Orangery. A tour of the Palace interiors included.
Built by King Friedrich I in 1699 as a summer palace for his wife Sophie Charlotte, Charlottenburg is not only the oldest, but also the largest Prussian palace in Berlin. The Baroque-era building is known for its lavish furnishings and its magnificent collection of 18th-century French paintings.
With an informative audio-guide (available in multiple languages), you can explore the splendid interiors and enjoy the ornate decor and stunning artworks.
In the evening, enjoy a three-course candlelight dinner in the enchanting setting of the Great Orangery.
The dinner menu at The Orangery changes with the seasons, but here is a sample:
Cream of black salsify with smoked duck breast and puff pastry
Tender braised local pork short rib with rosemary served with glazed turnips and polenta cake
Chocolate and chestnut terrine with cranberry sauce
Vegetarian Menu: Cream of black salsify and puff pastry, Honey glazed pumpkin on polenta cake and turnips, White chocolate and chestnut terrine with cranberry sauce
After the meal, relax and listen to music from the 17th and 18th centuries including works by Bach, Handel, Mozart and Vivaldi. To make the atmosphere even more authentic, the musicians and soloists are all dressed in period costume.
Choose from four seating categories, namely:
• VIP (front row of auditorium): Enjoy a glass of champagne during interval
• Category A: Front section
• Category B: Middle section
• Category C: Rear section

Dress Code: It’s fun to put on your glamorous best for a night at the concert, but casual dress is perfectly acceptable.
