Overview

An overnight desert safari followed by a traditional Gourmet breakfast is a great way to experience Dubai’s desert life in all its rawness. Located in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, this overnight desert safari gives visitors the chance to live among nature, spot exotic wildlife, drive through the desert in a 1950’s Land Rover and take in the epic sand dunes over sunset.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the open sky, in front of a bonfire and participate in traditional local activities like henna painting, musical performance, dancing, bread-making and Arabic coffee making. Experience how the Bedouins once lived in the deserts and spend the night in a classic traditional stone Bedouin dwelling. A Dubai tour just isn’t complete without a desert safari and this overnight experience delivers the very best of the region’s authentic desert experience in all its exotic charm.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel for the overnight desert safari. You will be driven into the desert in a museum quality 1950’s Land Rover, a classic vintage vehicle which holds a significant place in the history of the UAE. The drive into the desert provides the opportunity to spot exotic wildlife and enjoy the vast pristine landscape.

Watch falcons soaring above as the sun sets over the desert. Enjoy a sunset falcon show while you sip on sparkling date juice. After you arrive at the authentic Bedouin camp, lit by traditional lamps, enjoy some local culture with activities like henna painting, musical performance, dancing, bread-making and Arabic coffee making. After a sumptuous dinner beneath a starry sky, you’ll relax beside a bonfire. Your dinner will include soup, salad, appetizer, main course and dessert. You will be spending the night in a traditional stone Bedouin dwelling furnished with a mattress, pillows and sleeping bags.

Wake up to the fragrance of freshly-brewed Arabic coffee and gourmet breakfast the next morning. Smoked salmon, cold meats, eggs, caviar, fruit, bread, will make up your breakfast. The desert safari ends after which you will be dropped-off to your hotel in Dubai.
