To begin your Green Island Express Tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairns or the Northern Beaches. There are two daily departures (9am and 1pm) to choose from. A modern air-conditioned will take you to the Green Island from Cairns.

While onboard, you will see a snorkeling demonstration and you will be given an introduction on how to spend your day at the island, while you enjoy complementary tea and coffee.

Surrounded by sapphire blue waters, there was a time when Green Island had nothing more than a jetty, a marine viewing point at the end of the jetty and a few huts. Presently, it attracts a large number of tourists every year. For its beauty and rich wildlife it was declared a national park as long ago as 1937.
